Philip Jalalpoor added 12 points off the Devil bench versus Pierce
DEVILS FALL AT PIERCE
The Red Devil men's basketball team rallied in the second half, but dropped an 84-72 game at Pierce on Wednesday February 12th.
The Raiders remembered a road loss to LCC earlier in the season and came out firing on all cylinders in the first half. Pierce led 54-36 at halftime, shooting 58 percent in the first 20 minutes.
The Devils outscored Pierce 36-30 in the second half, but the hole was too deep to completely crawl out of. Inconsistent play was again the culprit.
Cameron Howell led the Devils in scoring with 13 points.
Philip Jalalpoor and
Michael Dupree added 12 each. Christian Parrot led the Devils with six rebounds.
The Devils dropped to 5-7 in league play, but remain in contention for a playoff spot. LCC will host Tacoma Saturday afternoon at 3 pm at the Mark Morris Gymnasium.
