The Devils got off to a fast start in an 80-56 win over Yakima Valley Monday December 29th at the Lower Columbia Holiday Classic.
Kaylea Knox had 16 points and three assists to lead the Devils to the win. The sophomore from Rainier hit four of eight 3's. Sierra Richards had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
The second half was not a thing of beauty as LCC lost focus and were outscored 32-27 by the Yaks.
The Devils take on Blue Mountain in the final day of the tournament at the Mark Morris Gym. Tip off is set for 11:00 am on Tuesday December 30th.
Following the game, the Devils will close out the new year with preparation for the West Region opener Saturday afternoon at South Puget Sound. Tip off is set for 3 pm.
