21 turnovers and suspect defense were the main culprits of a 81-71 Red Devils loss at Clackamas on Wednesday December 10th.
LCC had an eight point first half lead and they were up 31-30 at the break, but Clackamas rallied to take control in the second half outscoring the Devils 51-40.
The Cougars and Devils both shot 41% from the floor, but CCC outscored the Devils 16 to 8 at the free throw line.
It was another productive night for Sierra Richards who had 18 points and nine rebounds. Kaylea Knox had 16 points. Katie Hankins had 10 points. Autumn Moorcroft also did a great job with nine rebounds.
The Devils were playing without sophomore star Donniesha Webber, who is out with a knee injury. It is hoped that she will be able to begin rehab and return before the first of January.
The Devils head north to participate in the Everett Tournament Friday-Sunday December 12-14. LCC opens up with Bellevue at 4 pm Friday.
