Box Score Down 2 sets, the LCC Red Devil volleyball team won three straight to capture a 3-2 victory over Centralia on Wednesday November 12th.
The Devils were looking like it was going to be a sad road result when they caught fire and took care of business. The sets scores were 15-25, 28-30, 25-20, 25-21 and 15-6.
Kayla Keane had a big match setting up the offense with 40 assists.
Shaina Gustafson did her regular great job in the back row with 28 digs.
It was a balanced net attack with
Shelby Bergum leading the was with 11 kills.Â
Alexa Bond,
Madison Studer and
Sierra Addicott had 10 kills each.
The victory gave the Devils a 10-26 overall record and 4-9 in the West Region.
LCC will close out the season Friday November 14th when they host first place Tacoma. The Titans are 12-1 in league and 34-4 overall.
Froday's match is Sophomore Night where Gustafson,
Amanda Schwegler and Baily McKee will be honored prior to the match. The action begins at 7 pm at the Mark Morris Gymnasium.Â
It will be the Red Devils final match at Mark Morris as the team will play next season at newly remodeled Myklebust Gymnasium. The entire Red Devil volleyball program would like to thank Mark Morris and Kelso High for the use of their facilities the past two years.
