The Red Devils NWAC Tournament hopes took a serious hit with a home loss to Green River on Wednesday October 22nd.
The Gators dominated the deciding set and took the match 3-2. The set scores were 25-13, 25-27, 25-19, 19-25 and 15-7.
The Devils came out flat in the first set, but rallied to take sets two and four. The Gators net attack was too much to deal with, although NWAC Defensive Player of the Week
Shaina Gustafson made them work with a match high 36 digs.
Zoey Mohr had nine kills for LCC.
Sierra Addicott and
Madison Studer had eight each.Â
Kayla Keane had 33 assists and
Alexa Bond added 14 digs.
With the loss, the Devils three games behind Green River in the race for the 4th playoff spot in the West.
The Devils travel to Lakewood Friday night for a 7 pm at Pierce.
