There were plenty of positives for LCC volleyball at the Bellevue Crossover tournament Friday and Saturday October 17th and 18th.

LCC collected wins over Columbia Basin, Green River and Edmonds. The Devils had losses to Olympic, Walla Walla and Chemeketa.

The action began Friday morning with a 25-16, 25-21, 25-21 sweep over CBC.  Olympic came up with a 25-15, 25-11, 25-19 sweep over the Devils.  LCC bounced back with a 24-26, 25-21, 15-12 victory over Green River.  The busy Friday was capped with Walla Walla taking a 25-14, 25-17 victory.

Saturday morning started with a 25-21, 25-23 victory over Edmonds.  LCC was then eliminated by Chemeketa 25-19, 18-25 and 15-11.

Coach Carri Smith was pleased with the way the team battled and responded to each loss.

The Devils return to West Region play when they host Green River on Wednesday October 22nd.  The match starts at 7 pm at the Mark Morris Gymnasium.
