SECOND HALF BLUES DO IN DEVILS

The Lower Columbia College men's basketball team had a case of the second half blues on Saturday January 25th. With a nine point lead at the half, the Devils faltered in the final 20 minutes in a 85-69 loss to Grays Harbor. The Chokers outscored the Devils 49-24 in the second half.

The second half was a miserable shooting performance as the Devils hit just six of 35 shots, including a myriad of point blank misses.

Choker post man Bryan McGriff led Grays Harbor with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Cameron Howell had 18 points to lead LCC. Taylor Drey added 14 points. The Devils were without starter Michael Dupree who sat out the game with an ankle injury.

With the loss, the Devils are 4-4 in league play, tied for the 4th and final playoff spot.

LCC will travel to Olympia on Wednesday for an 8 pm matchup at South Puget Sound. The game be heard live in the Longview-Kelso are on AM 1490 KLOG and worldwide on klog.com.
