As a freshman pitcher Zoey Hughes was instrumental in the devils 48-0 championship season. Hughes went 16-0 on the season with 1.65 ERA striking out 133 batter while only walking 14.  
In her sophomore year, Zoey, threw 120.2 innings with an era of 1.97, striking out 170 batters. Earning her All-American honors for the secodn year in a row.
