Coach Zaragoza enters her second year back in Longview as an assistant under Head Coach Troy Shorey.

Coach Zaragoza coached in the 2023 season under former coaches Carrie and Josh Smith. In the 2023 season, Red Devil Volleyball went 24-8 overall and 11-1 in conference play. The Red Devils finished their season at the NWAC Volleyball Elite Eight tournament.

Zaragoza’s playing career consisted of time at both Lower Columbia College and Eastern Oregon University. While at Lower Columbia, Zaragoza played both volleyball and softball. She was a part of the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons. While playing volleyball she earned NWAC West Region setter of the week, player of the week, and second team selection (setter). She then went and continued to play softball at Eastern Oregon University for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons. While at Eastern Oregon She earned All CCC Honorable Mention Outfield.

A Boise Idaho native. Zaragoza graduated from Boise High School in 2019 where she played both volleyball and softball. A 2018 Idaho State champion in softball earning all conference honors. She was awarded Heart of the Brave 2x and Boise High Female Athlete of the Year in 2019.

In 2023, Karsyn graduated with her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Oregon University. She currently is attending Eastern Washington University getting her master's Degree in EDS School Psychology.
