Meet Anika:

Why did you choose to become a Red Devil?
I really liked the team and coach, the environment they have created, and that the school is sort of close to home

What is your greatest athletic achievement or memory so far?
Sophomore year we went to state track, and I made it in all of my events. We placed second in our 4x4 meter relay, I placed fifth in 300 meter hurdles, and as our girls team we placed fourth overall. It was an amazing experience with the team and we had a lot of fun!

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
None

Who is your favorite professional athlete or biggest role model, and why?
My mom because I have always looked up to her my whole life. She pushes me to be the best version of myself, and is always here for support.

What is your personal goal for the upcoming season?
To make a starting spot, to become a person they can rely on, and to not only be a great teammate, but also a great friend

Not really any favorites, but I like a lot. Something I can yell and sing along to

Favorite movie, TV show, or pop-culture obsession:
Divergent

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Invisibility, reading people’s minds, OR flying

What is your ultimate post-game meal?
Sometimes I’m not hungry after, but probably Chipotle 

Do you have any hidden talents? 
Used to play the piano

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring?
Radio, flint, and toilet paper
