Raeanne Hanks is a second year pitching coach for the Red Devils. She was a four-sport student-athlete at Rainier High School, graduating in 2009. Raeanne was a first-team all-state and All-Lewis & Clark League selection in softball for coach Pat White and helped her team to four state tournament appearances, including a pair of third-place finishes, and three straight league titles. A multi-sport star, she was first-team all-league and all-state performer in volleyball, helping the Columbians to a fifth-place state finish, earning first-team all-state tournament honors. She was the league player of the year in her senior season, 2008. In basketball, she was an honorable mention all-league selection, helping the team to a 39-0 record and league, district and state titles in 2007-2008. Also, swam for a year for Rainier, earning team MVP and second-team all-district honors. Raeanne was team captain for the softball, volleyball and basketball teams. For travel softball she played on the Oregon Silver Bullets club softball team out of Aloha, Oregon 2008-2009 for coach Steve Wallo.

After high school, Raeanne was recruited and signed to play at the University of North Carolina (Greensboro) Division I in the Southern Conference. She accumulated 44 wins (sixth UNCG all-time), 36 complete games, eight saves (third UNCG all-time), 501.2 innings (ninth UNCG all-time) and 437 strikeouts (fourth UNCG all-time). Raeanne was named to the Southern Conference All-Tournament team in 2013 and 2014. In 2013 she was Southern Conference Pitcher of the Month for February and March, earned Southern Conference second team as a pitcher, and Southern Conference Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after recording 24 scoreless innings, 20 strikeouts, only one earned run in three games and a 2-1 record. She was selected twice as Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Her coaching experience also includes many UNCG softball clinics throughout her career and she worked for the NCAA in 2012 as a softball clinician at the College World Series in Oklahoma City. In 2014, Raeanne spent the season in Sweden as a player-coach for the Enkoping Softball Club as well as getting to travel with the Swedish National team to Prague, Czech Republic, to play and coach in the annual Prague Softball and Baseball Week tournament. In 2016 she coached the Roots 16U ASA team in Longview and gives private pitching lessons to high school and younger girls in the area.
