Lower Columbia College Red Devils

Meet Brooke:

Why did you choose to become a Red Devil?
I felt like I wasn’t quite ready to leave home yet and my Mom (Jennifer Godinho-Hefley) is a hall of famer for being a 3 sport athlete, and I believe LCC is a great place to start to becoming a college athlete!

What is your greatest athletic achievement or memory so far?
My favorite memory so far has been our team hike and us all being together working everyday for the past 2 weeks!

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
I have never not worn a Nike headband for a game and I feel incomplete without it, it ties everything together. I also do some sort of slick back every game and then I change up my ponytail.

Who is your favorite professional athlete or biggest role model, and why?
I look up to Bri Ellis, she goes into that box knowing she’s gonna hit the crap out of the ball. I also look up to my mom because she pushes me to be the best athlete I can be and she has always supported me!

What is your personal goal for the upcoming season?
My goal is to become a good teammate that can contribute both offensively and defensively.

Go-to hype song or artist on your warm-up playlist:
Not like us- Kendrick Lamar

Favorite movie, TV show, or pop-culture obsession:
Stranger things, Outer Banks, Michael Jackson Movie

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would probably want to have the power to teleport because it would make traveling so much easier and wouldn’t have to drive.

What is your ultimate post-game meal?
Jimmy John’s , Chicken bacon ranch toasted combo
