Lower Columbia College Red Devils

Walter Sommer played baseball, basketball and football at Florence high school in Florence, AZ. Sommers' helped the Gophers Baseball team make their way to State in his sophomore, junior and senior year. Along the way he earned 2nd Team All-Region twice, 1st Team All-region, 1st Team All-County, 1st Team All-State and Offensive Player of the Year honors.

If Walter was given the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world his first choice would be Cabo San Lucas. He would love to see the amazing beaches and views at Playa El Medano, also known as Lover's Beach.

After college he is looking to start a career in teaching and coaching.
