Red Devils Volleyball Summer Camp to be held August 19-22


 

The camp will be held at Myklebust gymnasium located in the Fitness Center bldg on the LCC campus. Camps will be lead by LCC Head Volleyball Coach Troy Shorey, along with current and former members of the Red Devils volleyball team.

The Youth Volleyball camp will be on Monday, August 19 thru Wednesday, August 22, 2024.
The camp is designed to develop and fine-tune the correct fundamentals of setting, passing, serving, hitting, and defensive play. Through competitive games and exercises, along with one-on-one instruction from the coaching staff, our hope is that each camper will walk away instilled with a love for the game.


Times:
9:00 - 11:00 am Elementary and Middle School Students

12:00 - 2:00 pm High School Students (including incoming 9th graders)
 

The cost for this camp is $75. Please pay by check (payable to Lower Columbia College Volleyball) on the first day of camp. 

Camp will include:
  • Passing Fundamentals (Footwork, platform, defense, serve receive)
  • Setting Fundamentals (Footwork, hand placement, defensive movement, making good choices)
  • Serving Fundamentals (Body position, stance, serving placement)
  • Hitting Fundamentals (Arm swing, footwork, transition, and a variety of sets)
