Areeana Long transfers to LCC after playing her freshman year at Otero Junior College in Colorado. She was a two year varisty player in high school where her team won the region championship in 2014 and was a state semi-finalist in 2017.

"Aree is another great transfer for us. She is a great player who can play a variety of positions. She can settle the game for us through the midfield or break teams down from up front. She'll impact the game no matter where she plays" - Coach Vogel

    "It would have to Ireland, because I am Irish and I;ve always wanted to explore it's beauty."

What are your plans after LCC?
    "I would like to transfer to a four year and continue playing college ball while obtaining my master degree in sports medicine."
