The Lower Columbia College Red Devils extended their impressive winning streak to 18 games with a doubleheader sweep over Olympic on April 18 at Lobe Field in Bremerton, Washington. The Red Devils secured a commanding 13-6 victory in the first game before completing the sweep with a 4-1 win in the nightcap.
In game one, the Red Devils' offense generated 14 hits and broke the game wide open with a six-run ninth inning. Keagan Kelly set an aggressive tone early by stealing home in the first inning, finishing the game with two hits, three runs, and three stolen bases. Sam Davidson anchored the run production with four RBIs, which included a two-run double in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the ninth. Jackson Noonan contributed a triple, while Karsten Hansen recorded two hits and crossed the plate three times.
Starting pitcher Caden Spanier earned the win to improve his perfect record to 5-0 on the season. Spanier commanded the mound over seven and a third innings, racking up 10 strikeouts while scattering six hits. Matthew Kosderka and Hayden Line closed out the game in relief to secure the 13-6 win.

Game two featured a tighter contest, but Lower Columbia ultimately prevailed 4-1. After Olympic scored a run in the bottom of the first, the Red Devils answered in the top of the second inning with an RBI groundout from Noonan. Lower Columbia took the lead for good in the fourth inning when Kelly, who led the team with three hits in the game, scored on a pitcher's error before Hansen drove in another run with a sacrifice fly. Hansen added an insurance run in the eighth inning by drawing a bases-loaded RBI walk.
Justin Fuller secured the victory on the mound, improving his record to 3-1. Fuller tossed six strong innings, allowing just five hits and one earned run while striking out six batters. Dante Santulli provided two critical scoreless innings in relief, and Rudy Larson slammed the door in the ninth with a pair of strikeouts to earn his first save of the year.
Now riding an 18-game win streak, the Red Devils will look to keep their momentum rolling when they return home. The next game for LCC is on Thursday, April 23, against the Clark Penguins. The first pitch is set for 3:00 pm at Story Field.
