The game was largely a pitcher's duel through regulation. Lower Columbia scratched across the first run in the fifth inning, only for Centralia to tie it 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh. Both teams' bullpens kept the score knotted until the tenth.

In the top of the tenth, Lower Columbia's Blake Mattern drew a walk and Langan Naylor singled. After a strikeout, Jace Nagler stepped up and laced a triple, scoring both Mattern and Naylor to give the Red Devils a 3-1 lead.

Centralia attempted a comeback in the bottom half. Reuben Elliston led off with a double against LCC reliever Mattew Kosderka and later scored on a wild pitch, cutting the lead to 3-2. However, Kosderka induced two fly-outs and a groundout to end the threat and secure the save.
