(Longview, WA) Lower Columbia and Clark battled for 93 minutes at Northlake field on Saturday, September 23, only to end in 0-0 draw.
The Red Devils were ready for tough match and the Penguins did not disappoint. Lower Columbia won the possession battle keeping the ball in their control 60% to Clarks 40%. While the Devils got off 10 shots to the Penguins 7, both teams only had 2 of those shots on target sailing the rest wide or high. Â
Lower Columbia was aggressive and pressured Clark through out forcing 2 corner kicks while not allowing any on their end. The Devils did have 14 fouls called against them while Clark only had 9.Â
Jade Goulding got the scoreless tie in goal with 3 saves credited to her.Â
