(Tacoma, WA) – The Lower Columbia women's basketball team bounced back from its first league loss to take care of Tacoma 75-52 on Wednesday February 8
th.
Courtney Swan had a great night as she scored a team-high 18 points with six rebounds, three assists and four steals.
The Red Devils led from the outset and the score would have been even more lopsided if not for an 8 for 20 performance from the free throw line.
LCC did its regular great job on defense pressuring the winless Titans (0-19, 0-6) into 32 turnovers.
Joining Swan in double figure scoring was
Katie Hanson with 15 points,
Aivine Soakai with 13 (plus nine boards) and
Katelynn Forner with 10.
Forner also had seven rebounds, three assists and seven steals.
Paige Mace was part of the Devil havoc with six points, five assists and four steals.
The Devils keep a share of first place at 6-1, 16-6 overall.
