(Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia women's basketball team won two of three games at the NWAC Crossover tournament on December 14-16 at Myklebust Gym.
There were plenty of positives to take from the weekend. There was definitely a big bummer as starting guard
Courtney Swan suffered a serious knee injury in the opener on Thursday against Edmonds. Swan was running down the court when she rolled her right ankle. As she adjusted her gait to avoid rolling the ankle more severely, her left leg was displaced and she went down. The status of the respected sophomore will be updated after further tests. The Devils will be without Swan for an extended time.
The Devils did play well despite the loss of Swan. Many players stepped up.
