A Dominant Tie, Devils Alone In First

(Longview, WA) – The Lower Columbia Red Devils outshot Centralia 29-3.  LCC had eight corners to the Blazers one.  The match was spent mostly in the Centralia end of the field.
 
Lower Columbia did everything but win.
 
The Devils and Blazers ended in a 0-0 tie in NWAC West Region soccer on Wednesday September 28th at Northlake Field.
 
The Devils had numerous opportunities but couldn't get into the net.  Centralia withstood the barrage and came away with a good road tie.
 
Nataija Blaylock had seven shots.  Molly Romanchock collected six.  Libby Brown had four.
 
Despite the tie, the Devils find themselves alone in first place after Clark handed Highline its first loss of the season.  Lower Columbia is 5-0-3 in league and 7-2-4 overall. Highline is in second at 5-1-2.
 
The Devils hit the road Saturday for a 12 pm match at Grays Harbor in Aberdeen.
