McMinnville, OR) – The Lower Columbia soccer team will now shift focus to NWAC West Region play after closing out the non-league schedule with a 3-2 loss at Linfield College on Monday August 29^th.
 
The Wildcats jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead before LCC could cash in.  Adalie Schierscher broke through with a Red Devil goal six minutes into the second half.
 
Linfield then regained the two goal advantage to go up 3-1.
 
Libby Brown's goal got LCC within one but the clock ran out and Cats took the victory.
 
The Devils record is now 2-2-1 heading into league play.
 
The Devils were set to host the Grays Harbor Chokers on Wednesday, August 30, but the Chokers had to forfeit due to not having enough players to field a team that day.

LCC will now be off until September 3 vs Clark in Vancouver, WA.
