Next up for the Devils was the NWAC Quarterfinals where they defeated North Idaho 3-1 in a PK shootout, setting up Friday's Semifinals showdown. Devils Volleyball will also be in action this weekend at the NWAC Volleyball North Regionals in Bellevue, Wa.
Lower Columbia finished the season 11-1 (25-4 overall) earning the West Region title that they share with the Highline Thunderbirds (11-1, 21-4). Due to the two teams being tied and only losing to each other it came down to a pre-decided matrix to determine the number 1 and 2 seeds. Highline had the matrix meaning LCC ended up with the number 2 seed in the west and is traveling to Bellevue.
The Red Devils will face Yakima Valley on Saturday, November 12, at 10:30 am. Rouge and Bellevue play at 1:00 pm. Two of the four teams will move on to the Elite Eight held at Pierce college, November 18-20.
