The Lower Columbia women's soccer team went to McMinnville on Thursday September 2nd and played an NCAA Division III for the third time in six days.

On the heels of close 1-0 losses to Lewis and Clark and George Fox, this time the Devils battled to a 1-1 tie with Linfield.

Freshman Abby Schroeder had a break out game for LCC.  The freshman from Sequim scored in the first minute of the second half to tie the match at 1-1.

After Linfield went back ahead 2-1, Schroeder scored again and the match played out full time 2-2.

The Devils are now 2-2-1 on the season.  LCC has a week off before beginning NWAC West Region play Saturday September 11th against Pierce.  It's the Devils home opener with the match beginning at 2:30 pm.
