(Tacoma, WA) -- The Lower Columbia College volleyball team suffered a mid-match let down, but persevered and came away with a 3-2 road victory at Tacoma on Wednesday night October 6
th.

The Devils came out swinging with a 25-11 opening set win. The Devils had an outstanding .308 kill percentage in that first set.

But the Titans came back and won the next two sets 27-25, 25-21 to flip the script. But LCC would not be denied and won the 4
th set 25-22 and closed out the deciding set 15-12.

Josie Dew had her most productive match of the season so far with a team-high 14 kills and a .355 kill percentage.

Camryn Wilson had 13 kills and 14 digs for LCC, now 3-1 in West Region play.

Emily Borgstedt also had a fine match with 10 kills and a .346 kill percentage. She also added four blocks.

Amanda Holm led the distributors with 31 assists.Â
Ashley Noah added 15 assists with 11 digs.

Emma Nelson with 26 digs.

The Titans were led by the 16 kills from Britt Vaughn.

At 3-1 in league, the Devils stay a game behind 4-0 Pierce and Highline.
