Two home matches, two victories for the Lower Columbia College volleyball team.

LCC defeated the Clark Penguins in three straight sets on Friday August 30
th at Myklebust Gymnasium. That came on the heels of a four-set victory over Clackamas at home the Wednesday before.

Friday night the Devils showed a balanced net attack as no LCC player had more than 10 kills. Instead it was a team approach as three players had six or more kills.

Ashlynn Cantwell led the way with eight kills and five digs.

Zoe Naugle added seven kills and
Kiana Scott had six.

Setter
Karsyn Zaragoza had plenty of options with her 19 assists and 10 digs. Libero
Emma Nelson had 18 digs to lead the defense.

The Devils are 5-3 in NWAC play and they will travel to Salem for a match with the Chemeketa Storm on Wednesday September 4
th.

The next chance to keep the home record perfect is Wednesday September 11
th against the Edmonds Tritons. Match time is 3 pm.
