The Red Devils have found goals hard to come by so far this season.
Â
The Tacoma Titans came to Northlake Field on Wednesday October 11 and defeated the Red Devils 3-0.
Â
The Titans broke through with a Raquel Prado-Huerta goal at the 18 mark. It was a goal that could be considered unlucky as the Devils had a break down in front of the goal.
Â
Down 1-0 at the half, Lower Columbia couldn't get the field shifted to the offensive side. LCC had just one shot on goal in the entire game.
Â
Isabella Weaver scored at the 54 minute mark and Tacoma clinched it with a Kylie Bond goal at 72'.
Â
Red Devil goalkeeper
Leayssa Murray had to deal with 20 Tacoma shots. Murray ended up with 10 saves.
Â
"There is little things that we have to keep sharpening up but overall there is still a lot of good things happening to build off of", said head coach
Bryan Vogel.
Â
The Devils will try and get that first divisional win when they host the Grays Harbor Chokers on Saturday September 14
th. Game time is 12 pm at Northlake Field in Longview.
