Cardinals and Hawks soar over Devils

Devils soccer kicked off their 2019 season with the annual NWAC soccer friendlies in Tukwila, WA. 

The Devils first match was against the Skagit Valley Cardinals on Thursday, August 22. The Cardinals came out strong scoring their first goal at 17' and never let up. Final score was 6-0.
LCC's goalies, Jade Cox and Leayssa Murray, split the work with 15 saves in total. 

On Friday, August 23 the Devils faced the Columbia Basin Hawks. Hawks put up the first goal at the 5 minute mark but the Devils held them to just one through the first half.
In the second half, Columbia Basin came out strong managing to put up three more goals. Final score of game two was 4-0. 
Once again the Red Devil goalies split the work with 16 saves in total. 

Up next for the Red Devils is another road trip on Monday, August 26 for a 5:00 pm match vs the Yakima Valley Yaks in Yakima.
