Samaad Hector was one rebound shy of a special 20-20 night.

The Lower Columbia freshman had 21 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Red Devils to an 83-67 victory over the Pierce Raiders on Wednesday February 13th.

Hector was a terror on the glass as he was relentless going after the basketball.   He had seven offensive rebounds and 12 on the defensive window.

Seth Hall scored 16 points with four assists.

Bricin Ford had a big game off the Red Devil bench as he scored 15 points with seven rebounds.  He also had another slam dunk to ignite the crowd.

Speaking of dunks, Travis Patrick had two more highlight reel throw downs including a break-away windmill.  Patrick scored seven points on the night.

Alec Canete-Hall had 11 points and six assists.  Martis Johnson supplied seven points and nine rebounds.

The Devils were on the verge of blowing out the Raiders when Pierce made a second half run to get within seven.  Canete-Hall had a big three point play to stem the tide and ignite a strong LCC finish.

Rayell Hill had 15 to lead the Raiders, who slipped to 4-5 on the league season.  The Devils evened up their league mark at 5-5.

Lower Columbia will host Grays Harbor on Saturday February 16th.  Game time is 7 pm.
