Samaad was doing Samaad things in the Red Devils 100-90 road win at Chemeketa on Tuesday November 26th.

Samaad Hector had a huge double-double as he scored 27 points and pulled down 20 rebounds to lead the way.  Despite injuring his hand early in the game, the LCC sophomore stayed relentless, attacking the glass.  Hector was 12 for 18 from the floor and even made his lone three-point attempt.  Hector also mixed in three blocks.

Alexis Angeles scored 23 points on 9 for 14 shooting.  The Devils as a team shot 49 percent from the floor and 50 percent from beyond the arc.

Lower Columbia raced out to a 50-36 lead at halftime but the Storm made a second half rally to get within six.  The Devils then turned it back on and held ground to get the victory.

Amiri Chukwuemeka had his best game as a Red Devil as he came off the bench with 13 points, six assists and four steals.

Taylor Pomeroy scored 11 for LCC.

The 3-0 Devils are ready for some Thanksgiving turkey and then a feast of basketball at the 33rd Red Devil Classic beginning Friday November 29th at Myklebust Gym at the Stoller Athletic Center in Longview.  The three-day, 11 game tournament begins Friday at 1 pm.  Lower Columbia will take on Olympic Friday night at 8 pm.
