It's always great when former Red Devils come back to campus.

It's also great when the current LCC women's basketball team hits the floor for the first time, signifying the season will be here soon.

The current LCC team defeated the Alumni team 60-22 on Saturday October 26th at Myklebust Gym in the Stoller Athletic Center.

The Devils jumped out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and cruised to the victory.

Madeline Jacobson had 13 points and six rebounds.  Danica Schmidt had 10 points and seven rebounds.  Jodi Noyes scored eight points with five boards.

Katie Hankins and Kaylea Knox-Tripp had six points each for the Alumni team.

Also playing for the Alumni was Donniesha Webber, Amanda Britt, Autumn Moorcroft and Maddi Hanna.  Former assistant coach Bri DuBois also helped out by playing for the Alumni team.  Other formers Devils who came to the event included Tori Johnson, Nichole Kates, Payton Hoff Rakoz, Emily Griner, Marissa Gardner and Bailey Hockett.  It was really great to see Hockett as she was recently involved in a serious car accident and is doing well in her recovery.

The Devils will have another scrimmage event on Sunday November 3rd when they take on Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. Scrimmage time is 4 pm.
