The Lower Columbia men's basketball team got 2019 started with a 117-57 victory over the Multnomah JV's on Saturday January 5^th.
 
Dwayne Stewart led an effort that featured every LCC player scoring and getting at least one rebound each.  Stewart had 18 points and five boards.
 
Samaad Hector had an incredible 21 rebounds to go with his 16 points.
 
Cody Young, starting at point for the injured Alec Canete-Hall, had 15 points and five assists.  Devonte Dennis had 14 points, six rebounds and seven helpers.
 
Martis Johnson had 14 points and nine rebounds.
 
Louden Wardius had 10 points. Seth Hall, Zach Spink, Travis Patrick and Bricin Ford all had six points each.  Ford pulled 12 rebounds.
 
The Red Devils committed just two fouls in the game.
 
The competition gets better and real come Wednesday January 9^th when the Devils open West Region play against the Green River Gators.
