The Bellevue Bulldogs volleyball team will be a force to be reckoned with in the NWAC North Division this season.
That is why Lower Columbia's 3-1 win over Bellevue on Tuesday September 4th goes into the category of quality victory.
Three Devils scored double figure kills as LCC won the match 25-21, 17-25, 25-14 and 25-16.
Sophomore
Cassidy Thompson had 13 kills and 19 digs to lead the way.
Freshman
Ashlynn Cantwell blasted 12 kills and provided 20 digs.Â
Desarae Reab also came up big with 11 kills.
Macey Wright distributed 49 assists. Karli Hall was excellent on defense with 25 digs.
The Red Devil attack percentage was .206. Bellevue hit at .125.
Carlee Rowell of Bellevue led the way with 12 kills.
It was the first of back-to-back matches on Tuesday. The Devils capped off the day with a 3-0 sweep over Clackamas.
The set scores were 25-17, 25-123 and 25-17.
Cantwell had nine kills and nine digs against the Cougars.Â
Megan Miller and Reab had six kills each.
Wright dished out 31 assists. Karli Hall had 12 digs to lead in that category.
LCC had an outstanding .310 kill percentage against the Cougars.
With the sweep, Lower Columbia goes to 8-3 on the season. The Devils travel to Lakewood for a match with Umpqua at Pierce College on Saturday September 8th.Â
