The Lower Columbia College volleyball team jumped up to a 2-0 lead over Tacoma. It's a good thing because the Titans came roaring back and made it a great match.
In the end, the Devils came away with a 3-1 victory on Wednesday September 26th.
LCC won it 25-16, 29-27, 23-25 and 25-22.
Megan Miller had 14 kills to lead the Devil attack.Â
Desarae Reab had 13 kills.
Tacoma's one-two punch of Kate Pestova (31 kills) and Bailey Spurgeon (20 kills) were relentless.
Macey Wright had 50 assists to lead LCC in that category. Wright added 14 digs and she also had three aces.
Ashlynn Cantwell was solid with 11 kills and 13 digs.Â
Cassidy Thompson collected nine kills and 12 digs.
The Devils go to 2-0 in the West Region and 19-4 overall.
LCC will head to Olympia for a match with the South Puget Sound Clippers on Friday September 28th. Match time is 7 pm.
