The Linn-Benton Roadrunners are always a tough team and this years squad is no different.
The Devils struggled to find an answer to LBCC's hard hitting duo of Grace Phillips and McKya Filley who had 11 and 7 kills respectively.
The Red Devils fought hard and rallied back several times but were unable to capitalize. In the end Linn-Benton left with the 3-0 win taking the sets 25-15, 25-19, 25-20.
Devils were lead by freshman
Desarae Reab with 9 kills and a .211 attack % and
Ashlynn Cantwell with 8 kills.
Macey Wright spread things around with 22 assists. The Devils only hit .057 on the night compared to the Roadrunners .204.
The Red Devils will back at it on Thursday, August 30 at 5:00 pm when they welcome the Chemeketa Storm to Myklebust Gymnasium.
