The Red Devils Soccer team had to wait a day to get the season started due to the smokey air conditions but once the haze cleared the Devils came out strong defeating Clackamas 2-0. 

The Red Devils took control from the start with 11 shots on goal in the first half to Clackamas' 4 shots. Jessica Jude scored the first goal before the 1 min mark with an assisted from Kaylee Murray to give the Devils a 1-0 lead.
Kayla Willis scored the only other goal of the game at the 74 min with an assist from Ashlynn Willis. Jude also received the only yellow card of the match.

LCC keeper, Kennedy Werner, got her first shutout of the season with three saves.

The Red Devils will take the pitch again Friday, August 31 at 12:00 pm vs Lane in Eugene, OR. The first home match for the ladies is Sunday, September 2 vs Treasure Valley.
