The Lower Columbia College volleyball team was a bit tardy for their match at Tacoma on Friday October 19
th.

Health related transportation issues caused the coaching staff to scramble and find a way to get the team to Tacoma. Once they got there, the Titans were able to win three straight sets and take a 3-1 victory.

The Devils came out on top of the first set 28-26 and it appeared they would be able to get settled down after the rough road trip. Tacoma had other plans. The Titans won the next three 23-25, 21-25 and 23-25.

Cassidy Thompson led the Red Devils with 13 kills and 12 digs.

Ashlynn Cantwell had 11 kills and 13 digs.Â
Megan Miller added 10 kills.

Macey Wright was doing her thing as the LCC setter. She recorded 41 assists and had 15 digs.

Lower Columbia drops into a second place tie with Highline at 7-2. Pierce stayed on top of the West at 9-0. The Devils are 24-6 overall.

The Devils will be back home for a match with South Puget Sound on Wednesday October 24
th. Match time is 7 pm.
