It was a battle of the two teams left unbeaten in the NWAC West volleyball standings, LCC at Pierce on Wednesday October 10
th.

The Raiders are now alone in first as they played well on their home court and swept the Red Devils 3-0.

The set scores were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-13.

Pierce came up with a .268 kill percentage and they were able to keep the Devils off kilter. Lower Columbia had just a .120 kill percentage.

Ryleigh Burdick led the Raiders with 14 kills.

Lower Columbia was led by the eight kills from
Ashlynn Cantwell.Â
Desarae Reab had seven kills and
Cassidy Thompson added six.

Macey Wright provided 26 assists and seven digs.

Karlie Hall led the team with nine digs.

With the seven match win streak now gone, the Devils will try and start a new streak Friday October 12
th at Green River. The Gators will be looking for their first victory of the season as they enter the match 0-19 overall and 0-6 in the West. The match at Green River College in Auburn begins at 7 pm.
