Box Score Kayla Willis scored two goals to lead the Lower Columbia women's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Centralia on Wednesday September 20th.
One of the Willis goals was assisted by her twin sister
Ashlynn Willis.
The Devils jumped on top with a
Melany Roggow goal two minutes into the match.Â
Maddie McCallister set up Roggow with the assist.
The Willis twins struck with the family goal at 32' and that put LCC into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Lower Columbia then left no doubt by scoring two quick goals three minutes into the second half.Â
Kate Blackstone-Burgess scored an unassisted goal at 46'.Â
Kayla Willis then closed out the Red Devil scoring with her second goal at 48'.Â
Brittney Miner got the assist.
Natalie Coleman scored the Blazers lone goal at 72'.
Kennedy Werner had six saves for LCC.
The Devils are now 2-1-1 in West Region play, 4-3-2 overall. The Devils seven league points have them tied with Tacoma for second place.
LCC's next three games are all on the road. Next up is a 5 pm game at Bellevue on Saturday September 23rd.
