Box Score The Lower Columbia College Red Devils scored the lone goal in the first two minutes and made it hold up in a 1-0 victory over Clackamas in NWAC soccer on Wednesday August 30th.

The Devils had plenty of other chances as two goals were taken off the board due to offsides calls.
Another local,
Kennedy Werner from Mark Morris got the shutout with nine saves.
The Devils had 13 shots on goal, while Clackamas had 14. The Red Devils had three corner kicks, all from McCoy. Clackamas had just one.Â
The Cougars came into the game with a 2-0 record, both shutouts. The early goal turned the Devils into the aggressors and the defense was solid throughout.
LCC is now 2-1-1. The Devils travel to Salem for a match with Chemeketa Saturday September 2nd at 12 noon.
