The Tacoma Titans held the Red Devil offense to just five hits in a 8-3 victory at Minnitti Field in Tacoma on Sunday April 9^th.
 
Three of the five hits were doubles, but LCC left 12 runners on base as they searched for some clutch hits.
 
It was a rare off-day for LCC starter Tyler Parsons. The sophomore lefty went 5 1/3 innings allowing five runs and nine base hits. Parsons gave up two long balls to the Titans.
 
Anthony Garcia came on and gave up three runs in 2 2/3 innings of relief.
 
Ricky Muzzy had a double and an RBI.  JT Strickler went 1-4 with an RBI.  Kyle Sandstrom and Corey Conklin had doubles.  Trevor Huddleston also had a base hit.
 
The Devils are now 4-1 in the West, tied with Pierce and Tacoma. 
 
LCC will host the George Fox University JV's in a non-league double header on Tuesday April 11^th. Game time at Story Field is 4 pm.
 
The Devils return to West action on Friday April 14^th as they take on Grays Harbor for a league twin bill at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam.  The teams will then turn around and play a pair on Saturday April 15^th at Story Field, game time 1 pm.
