With a 2-0 lead and heading to intermission, the Lower Columbia volleyball team may have been wondering if they would be able to complete a sweep over Green River.

A 2-0 lead over Highline led to a loss. A 2-0 lead over Pierce led to an epic 5 set win.

No let down on this night as the Devils completed the 3-0 victory.

The set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-11.

Lower Columbia spread the wealth around as the team's kill percentage was .333.  Cassidy Thompson led the way with 11 kills.

Nina Bailey had nine kills and Megan Miller had eight.

The Red Devil setters all played well as Macey Wright had 17 assists, Olivia Conradi had 12 and Carissa Gradwohl had seven in an efficient third set.

Maddie Stimmel played well, leading LCC with 21 digs.

Lower Columbia completes the first half of West Region play with a 6-1 record, 17-6 overall.

The Devils travel to Centralia Friday October 13th for a 7 pm match with the Trailblazers.
