Box Score It was great to see many familiar faces on Saturday January 7th.  Many Red Devils stars of the past came back to Myklebust Gym to see what this year's team is all about.

They found out it's pretty good around LCC women's hoops.

The Red Devils jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back as they defeated the Alumni team 94-42.

Madison Crews may have been motivated to go up against the Alumni coach, Sandy (Cerkan) Crews.  Madi had 23 points and five rebounds to lead all scorers.  Her mother is a former Red Devil star guard and member of the LCC Hall of Fame but there was nothing Sandy could do to keep her daughter and the current Red Devil team in check.

Also for the Devils, Carissa Cannon had 16 points, Faye Chartraw had 14 and Keahi-lele Roy had 12.

Lacey Seidl had 11 points to lead the Alumni team. It was also very obvious that former Red Devil and Oregon State Beaver Mollee Schwegler-Strand still has incredible talent as she had eight points, five spectacular assists and three steals.

The pre league games are over and now the Devils get ready for the West opener on Wednesday January 11th at Myklebust Gym. It's Red Canoe Credit Union Night with a 6 pm tip off.

The game will be streamed live as Tofer Vision will be on hand to produce it's first LCC games of the season. The game is part of the NWAC Game of the Week broadcast with a link on the nwacsports.org website.
