The Lower Columbia Red Devils and Edmonds Tritons got together for a non-divisional doubel header at Story Field on Friday March 25th. The Devils came up with the sweep 8-2 and 7-6.
A three-run home run by
Lorin Archibald helped the Red Devils score three runs in the eighth takeing charge. Archibald racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia.
Joel Worden improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered seven hits.Â
In the nightcap, both teams threatened with rallies, but it was Lower Columbia that eventually took advantage in a 7-6 win.
Garrett Myers had a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Devils. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.
Taylor Davis improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered four hits.
Both teams went to Edmonds for a twinbill on Saturday March 26th.
