The Lower Columbia men's basketball team was down 11 early to Olympic, but pulled it together to win 80-62 on the opening night of the 30th Red Devil Classic on Friday November 25th.

Keun Palu-Thompson led a big second half and finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds.  KPT also had five assists.

Brandon Cotton did a great job off the Red Devil bench with 11 assists. Together Palu-Thompson and Cotton supplied 15 assists and just one turnover from the point guard position.

Devin Johnson had 16 points and eight rebounds. Marcus Lord also had 13 points including a thunderous dubk that revved up the crowd of 221.  Lord also had six rebounds and four assists.

The Devils will take on Spokane in the Red Devil Classic Semi Final on Saturday November 26th. The tip time is at 8 pm.  Spokane beat Southwestern Oregon 90-84 behind the 24 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists from Garrett Hull.

Also at the Red Devil Classic:
Everett over Yakima Valley 102-99 as Brevin Brown had 37 points for the Trojans.  Centralia defeated Mt. Hood 93-91 behind the 23 points of LaBrandon Price.
