The time is in the hands of the center official.  For the second straight match, LCC gave up a stoppage time goal and suffered a heart breaking defeat.

Green River scored both of its goals in the final 10 minutes and pulled out a 2-1 victory on Saturday October 8th.

The Devils certainly deserved better. They fought and battled with Green River for the entire match and at times were the agressors.  The close, end of the match losses are certainly dissapointing, but the Devils effort is not.

It was the sixth one-goal loss of the season for the Red Devils.

After battling to a 0-0 tie at halftime and then another 30 minutes of scorless action, the Devils took the lead on a Melany Roggow goal at the 74 minute mark. The goal came off an Abby Heckel assist.

Green River came right back five minutes later to tie the game at 1-1 on an Abbey Lincoln goal.

In stoppage time, the Gators bit LCC with another Lincoln goal.

More like snakebit then Gatorbit.

LCC will host Tacoma on Wednesday October 12th. The start time at Northlake Field is set for 4 pm.
