Final Second Free Kick Hands Centralia A Win

Just like that, a foul, a free kick, a goal and an match ending whistle.  In a matter of seconds Centralia came away with a 2-1 win over the LCC women's soccer team on Wednesday October 5th at Northlake Field.

In a spirited match that featured 13 fouls, eight by Centralia, the Blazers got the opportunity at the end to pull out the victory.

LCC tied the match at 1-1 on a Melany Roggow goal at the 75 minute mark. Shannon Campbell's free kick set up the carom and assited on Roggow's goal.

LCC kepper Shelby Vermeulen was outstanding in goal collecting 14 saves.

The ASLCC provided pizza for the fans and students in attendance.

The Devils fall to 1-5-1 in the division and 3-9-1 overall.

LCC will host Green River on Saturday October 8th at 12 pm.
