Seven LCC sophomores capped off their final Red Devil homegame with a 2-0 win over Grays Harbor on Saturday October 22nd.

Lily James scored a goal and displayed outstanding foot skills in leading the Devils to the win at Chinook Stadium in Kalama.

James scored an unassisted goal at the 12 minute mark to put the Devils on top.

Freshman Emily McCoy clinched it with an unassisted goal at the 46 minute mark.

LCC outshot Grays Harbor 22 to 8 and were in control the length of the match.

Freshman keeper Shelby Vermeulen got the shutout along with six saves.

Playing at home for the final time were James, Shannon Campbell, Haley Briggs, Ashlee Thayer, Lily Olson, Jensen Karn and Whitney Lopez.

All played well after they were honored with a pre-game ceremony.

The sophomores still have some work to do however as LCC closes out the season with two road games this week.  The Devils will be at Pierce Wednesday October 26th at 2 pm.  The season finale is Saturday night October 29th at Bellevue, 6 pm start time.
