Despite a forecast for high winds and terrential rains, the match went on at the Starfire Soccer Complex on Saturday October 15th.
Unfortunately for the LCC women's soccer team, they probably could have used a postponement.
The Highline T-Birds dominated the Devils winning the match 7-0. Chentay Warnes scored the first two goals of the match and her teammates took it from there.
Lower Columbia started with 14 players, but nagging injuries kept them from their best.

Shannon Campbell recieved great respect from her teammates for gutting it out and seeing it through despite a painful knee injury. She wasn't alone as other Red Devils played through despite the physical pains.
LCC goalkeeper
Shelby Vermeulen had nine saves, but the talented T-Birds had plenty of scoring opportunities. The Devils had just two shots on goal.
The Devils travel to Auburn on Wednesday October 19th for a 4 pm matchup with the Green River Gators.
The final home game is set for Saturday October 22nd against Grays Harbor at 12 pm.
