The Lower Columbia women's soccer team controlled the action, played agressive and played well. The only thing they didn't do is score.
The Tacoma Titans and Devils battled in a physical well played match, but the Titans came away with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday September 16th.
LCC led their guard down at the 25 minute mark and Tacoma scored to break up the scoreless match. Down 1-0 at the half, LCC played even better in the second half and matched the Titans and even played the aggressor. LCC had a couple of golden opportunities, including a point blank try by Irasem Alvarado in the second half.
The Titans scored a late insurance goal at the 80th minute.
LCC keeper
Whitney Lopez did a good job with seven saves.
The Devils drop to 0-2 in West Region play as they get ready to host Grays Harbor Saturday at 12 pm.
